Oussama Daibeche: Algeria midfielder joins JS Saoura from ES Setif on free transfer
Algeria midfielder Oussama Daibeche has joined JS Saoura from ES Setif on a free transfer, completing his move between two Ligue 1 clubs on 1 August 2026.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder arrives after one season with ES Setif, having moved to the club from CR Belouizdad in July 2025. Daibeche has also represented ES Mostaganem, CABB Arreridj and JS Kabylie during his senior career.
Daibeche has recorded 36 Ligue 1 appearances and 2,611 minutes in the competition. He has also featured in eight CAF Champions League matches and made six appearances in the Coupe d’Algerie.
Born in Isser, Algeria, Daibeche is a right-footed midfielder whose primary role is in defensive midfield. His move to JS Saoura keeps him in Algeria’s top flight and adds another experienced domestic player to the club’s squad.
He began his senior career with JS Kabylie after progressing from the club’s under-21 side. He later joined CABB Arreridj on a free transfer in October 2021 before switching to ES Mostaganem in July 2022, also without a transfer fee.
Daibeche then moved to CR Belouizdad in July 2024 and spent the 2025-26 campaign with ES Setif before making his latest switch. His career has therefore included spells at several Algerian clubs, with his next chapter coming at JS Saoura.
The transfer was completed on 1 August 2026, with Daibeche joining JS Saoura as a free agent from ES Setif.
