Ousmane Dembele shares Ballon d’Or glory with PSG teammates

Ousmane Dembele could not hide his gratitude after being crowned with football’s most prestigious individual honor, the Ballon d’Or.

For the Paris Saint-Germain forward, the trophy is not a personal accolade but rather a reflection of the efforts of the teammates who carried him throughout the season.

The Frenchman, who has journeyed through Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona before finding his rhythm in Paris, explained that success came only because everyone in the squad pushed themselves to the limit. Their collective strength, he believes, made his brilliance possible.

“It’s the collective Ballon d’Or because it’s thanks to them that I was able to be very good on the pitch and express myself in the best possible way,” Ousmane Dembele said in an interview with PSG TV before adding:

“They did an incredible job. Everyone raised their level, and so did I. If you don’t have a good team, you cannot perform, and they were exceptional with me.”

For Dembele, the golden trophy represents the spirit of PSG, where individual glory is only possible through unity.
