France forward Ousmane Dembele was on target for PSG on Wednesday, helping the team to thrash Real Madrid 4-0 in the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The forward, who is of Malian descent, started the match for the UEFA Champions League champions and put up an impressive performance as he lasted 59 minutes.
On the matchday, PSG took the lead after just six minutes into the first half through a strike from Fabian Ruiz after a costly mistake by the Real Madrid defence.
Three minutes later, Antonio Rudiger also made a mistake at the back, allowing Ousmane Dembele to run through on goal before firing a low drive into the back of the Real Madrid net to double the lead for PSG.
Later in the 24th minute, Fabian Ruiz scored his second of the match after he was set up by Moroccan Achraf Hakimi.
Despite all efforts by Real Madrid, the team could not equalizer before halftime. It was more of the same in the second half as PSG made it four in the 87th minute through Goncalo Ramos to secure a 4-0 win at full time.
The win has set up a showdown between PSG and Chelsea in the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
