Ousmane Dembele reassures PSG over his future
Ousmane Dembele has eased PSG concerns over his future by making it clear he sees himself staying in Paris.
With contract talks still unresolved, the forward used his RMC appearance to calm the speculation surrounding him.
The French star has been one of PSG’s standout performers again this season, finishing with 19 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances. After an up-and-down first half of the campaign, he has delivered when it mattered most and now has one final chance to shine in the Champions League final against Arsenal.
His contract situation has fuelled rumors of a summer exit, with interest reportedly coming from Saudi Arabia and the Premier League. But Dembele insisted he remains happy at the club and strongly hinted that he intends to stay for the long term.
“I have two years left on my contract. Until June 2028. Things are going really well at the club, I feel very good with everyone, whether it’s the staff, the players or the president. I feel good,” Dembele said.
“If I want to extend at PSG? Ah, we’ll see if PSG offers me a contract (laughs). I’m happy at the club and I hope that continues for a long time. What are the chances I stay? 100%, I’ve got two years left on my contract! Will I go until 2028? Yes, yes, yes,”
