Ousmane Dembele leads Ligue 1 awards race

Ousmane Dembele has been shortlisted for the 2026 UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Season award after another outstanding campaign with Paris Saint-Germain.

The PSG forward, who lifted the same prize last year, is once again among the leading contenders thanks to his consistent end product and influence in big games. He has scored 10 league goals in 19 appearances as the Parisians close in on yet another league title, underlining his importance in the final third.

Dembele has been in sensational form over the past few months as the season reaches its business end, regularly stepping up when PSG need a spark. His mix of pace, creativity and work rate has made him a genuine fan favourite at the Parc des Princes, where supporters have fully embraced his decisive contributions in both Ligue 1 and Europe.

He is joined on the Player of the Season shortlist by teammates Vitinha and Nuno Mendes, highlighting PSG’s dominance in the domestic campaign. Mason Greenwood of Olympique de Marseille and Florian Thauvin of RC Lens complete a competitive five-man list for the prestigious individual honour.
