Ousman Kujabi: Gambian forward joins Viktoria Zizkov from Podbrezova
Gambian centre-forward Ousman Kujabi has joined Czech side Viktoria Zizkov from Slovak club Podbrezova in a completed transfer. The 20-year-old, who stands at 1.90m, switches to the Prague outfit after a series of eye-catching displays in Slovak football.
Kujabi moves to the Czech National Football League having most recently been on the books of Podbrezova, who play in Slovakias top flight, the Nike Liga. The deal, concluded on 10 July 2026, sees Viktoria Zizkov add a physically imposing central striker to their attacking options, with the player already valued at around 150,000.
Born in Kafuta, The Gambia, Kujabi has built his reputation across Slovakias top two tiers and domestic cup. Across league and cup competitions there, he has recorded 63 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing several assists. His most prolific spell came in the I. Liga SD, where he hit 12 goals in 11 matches, underlining his threat in front of goal.
Kujabi first arrived in Europe with Slovak side Podbrezova after leaving Real de Banjul in his homeland in early 2024. He then alternated between Podbrezova and second-tier club Pohronie, including loan and free-transfer moves between the two, before re-establishing himself at Podbrezova ahead of this summers switch.
The strikers most recent campaign featured regular minutes in the II. Liga and Nike Liga, where he combined seven league goals in the second tier with further appearances in the top flight and the Slovnaft Cup. Viktoria Zizkov have now secured Kujabi as their latest attacking signing following his move from Podbrezova.
