Chairman of Al Ahly Bank Club, Ashraf Nassar, has confirmed that they are targeting a top-seven finish in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League, with the ultimate aim of securing a spot in the Golden Square.
Speaking to On Sport channel, Nassar emphasized the stability of the coaching staff, saying, “Ayman Al-Ramadi is an excellent technical director, and he will remain with us regardless of whether we finish among the top seven.”
Addressing transfer rumors, the club president clarified that midfielder Osama Faisal has not received any official offers, dismissing reports that the club had placed a 100 million-pound price tag on him.
“That figure is completely inaccurate. We have not received any proposals for Osama Faisal,” Nassar stated.
Nassar also praised former Al Ahly Bank defender Amr El Gazzar, describing him as “a committed and hardworking player who continually develops his skills and will be a strong addition to Al Ahly’s defensive line.”
On the club’s recruitment strategy, he added, “We have done well this season in the transfer market. For every position, we have alternatives at the same level as our starters.”
Al Ahly Bank most recently drew 1-1 with Al Ahly in the 17th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
