Oumar Comara: Ivory Coast defender joins Young Africans from Golden Arrows

Ivory Coast centre-back Oumar Comara has joined Tanzanian club Young Africans from South African side Golden Arrows, completing a move that takes the 25-year-old defender to a new league.

Comara’s transfer was completed on 4 August 2026, with Young Africans confirming the arrival of a right-footed central defender born in Bouake, Ivory Coast. He stands at 1.84m and is listed as a centre-back, the position in which he has featured during his time in South Africa.

The move brings Comara’s spell with Golden Arrows to an end after the defender’s involvement in the Betway Premiership. He now switches from South Africa to Tanzania, joining Young Africans as the club’s latest defensive addition.
