Ouassim Karada joins Hansa Rostock on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt

Ouassim Karada is leaving Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan to FC Hansa Rostock, giving the young right-back a first real taste of professional football.

The 20-year-old only joined Frankfurt from Kickers Offenbach at the start of July, but a temporary move had been part of his development plan from the outset.

The loan to the ambitious third-tier side does not include a purchase option, underlining that Frankfurt still see Karada’s long-term future with the club. In Rostock, he is expected to play regularly at a higher level than before, gaining valuable minutes and adapting to the intensity of senior competition.

Sport director Timmo Hardung praised the defender’s progress over the past year and explained the thinking behind the move: Ouassim has earned this next step by developing strongly, and more match practice plus tougher training should help bridge the gap to Bundesliga level. Frankfurt hope that a full season in Rostock’s first team will accelerate his growth and prepare him for a later role in their own senior squad.

For Karada, the switch offers a clear pathway: impress in Rostock, return to Frankfurt stronger, and push for a place in the top flight.
