Ouassim Karada: German-Moroccan right-back joins Hansa Rostock on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt II
German-Moroccan defender Ouassim Karada has joined Hansa Rostock on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt II, giving the 3. Liga side a new option at right-back for the 2026-27 season. The 20-year-old, who can operate on either foot, arrives after a recent 300,000 move that took him from Kickers Offenbach to Frankfurts reserve team earlier this month.
Karada has signed on with Rostock until the end of June 2027, with the agreement registered as a loan transfer. The switch offers the 1.85m full-back his first opportunity to play in the 3. Liga, stepping up from the Regionalliga Sudwest where he has built his reputation over recent campaigns.
Born in Frankfurt am Main in October 2005, Karada has already amassed significant senior experience for his age. Across regional league and cup competitions he has clocked close to 3,000 minutes in the Regionalliga Sudwest alone, contributing one goal and eight assists from defence. He also featured in youth competitions such as the U17-Bundesliga South/Southwest and the DFB-Pokal der Junioren earlier in his career.
Karadas development has taken him through several well-regarded youth systems. He progressed from Unterliederbach to SV Wehens youth ranks before moving on a free transfer to Mainz 05s academy in 2016. A further step to Mainz 05s U17 side was followed by a switch to Offenbachs youth team in 2022, where he advanced into the senior set-up and then earned his move to professional football with Kickers Offenbach and subsequently Eintracht Frankfurt II.
He will wear the colours of Hansa Rostock for the 2026-27 campaign, with his loan scheduled to run until he returns to Eintracht Frankfurt II at the end of June 2027.
