Didier Ovono is smiling and playing again. Without a club since the end of his contract at Sochaux, the Gabonese goalkeeper has signed up for Ostend until the end of the season.
After a successful trial, the Gabonese international goalkeeper reached an agreement with the Belgian D1 club. The former Manceau, who was said to be close to FC Sapins, will have an option for an additional season if he remains in the elite.
His brief stint at FC Sapin was beneficial.
After having dragged his bosses in Portugal, Georgia and France, precisely under the colors of Le Mans where he played 17 matches then at FC Sochaux (0 matches), Didier Ovono did not manage to find an agreement with the Cubs for the extension of his contract.
