The ongoing trials surrounding the tragic incident involving Oscar Pistorius have taken another difficult turn for the South African athlete. Facing legal costs that continue to escalate, Pistorius has been compelled to sell his house in the Silver Woods Country residence in Pretoria, according to the legal firm “Ramsay Webber” overseeing the sale.
In a press release, “Ramsay Webber” stated that it had become necessary to sell Pistorius’s house to secure the essential funds needed to cover the increasing legal expenses. The decision to sell the property was made urgently due to the prolonged duration of the trial and the escalating costs associated with it.
While the firm did not disclose the exact amount of the sale, the house was estimated to be valued at around 330,000 euros. Since the tragic incident, Pistorius has not returned to the residence.
The trial of Oscar Pistorius, which commenced on March 3 with an anticipated duration of three weeks, has faced delays, and its conclusion has been extended beyond the initially planned timeframe.
