Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of 26-year-old right-back Bulelani Sigomoshe from Milford FC with immediate effect.

The Buccaneers announced the deal on their official X account on Thursday as they continue to strengthen their squad for the challenges ahead.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Bulelani Sigomoshe from Milford Football Club,” the club said.

Sigomoshe’s arrival gives coach Abdeslam Ouaddou another option at right-back and increases competition within the Pirates defence.

The club said the move was part of its wider efforts to add depth to the playing squad as it pursues its objectives across all competitions.

“The 26-year-old right-back joins the Buccaneers with immediate effect, adding further depth and competition to the Club’s defensive options,” Pirates said.

The defender is expected to join the technical team and his new team-mates immediately.

Pirates welcomed Sigomoshe as he begins the next stage of his career with the South African club.

“The defender will link up with the technical team and his new teammates immediately as he begins the next chapter of his career in the famous black and white,” the club added.

“Orlando Pirates welcomes Bulelani to the Buccaneers family and wishes him every success at the Club.”
