In an attempt to build cohesion, assess tactical readiness, and gain match sharpness ahead of the new season, the South African powerhouse has decided to engage in a multiple friendly matches in the European country.
Orlando Pirates will spend close two weeks in Europe, starting from July 8 to July 20, 2025. The Soweto outfit will first face English side Bolton on July 11 before taking on Cypriot club Pafos, two days later.
The Buccaneers will test themselves against Spanish outfits Las Palmas and Granada before returning to South African for the new campaign.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates have announced the appointment of Abdeslam Ouaddou as new head coach of the club, replacing Jose Riveiro, who recently left the club to join Al Ahly.
