Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has hailed the return of South African international Relebohile Mofokeng after one-month absence.

The 21-year-old returned to action on Wednesday, as the Sea Robbers triumphed over Golden Arrows in the South African Premier League clash.

Before this match, Mofokeng had missed several games due injury setback, with his last appearance coming early October in the Carling Knockout match.

Mofokeng was introduced in the second half and made a good account of himself, setting up a goal for striker Yanela Mbuthuma with a sublime side-foot pass in the 3-1 win.

“It’s fantastic to see him back in our team. You know he is important for the club, how we love that player,” the coach said after the Betway Premiership match at King Zwelithini Stadium.

“Especially when you give him 15 minutes, he gives all his best. You see he gave the assist. It’s a special player for us.”

Mbuthuma scored a brace for the Sea Robbers with defender Nkosikhona Ndaba netting the other goal.

Pirates are now second on the standings with three points separating them from table toppers Mamelodi Sundowns who are 25 points.
