Orlando Pirates bring in dual-national goalkeeper Dublin Boon

Dublin Boon, the 21-year-old New Zealand and South Africa goalkeeper, has joined Orlando Pirates from Stellenbosch FC.

Boon moves between two clubs in the Betway Premiership, leaving Stellenbosch for one of South Africa’s best-known sides. The transfer was completed on 13 August 2026.

The goalkeeper’s arrival adds a young option to Orlando Pirates’ squad, while Stellenbosch lose a player who operated in the same position. Boon’s nationality reflects his New Zealand and South African background.

His move is a domestic transfer within the Betway Premiership, with both clubs based in South Africa. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the deal.

Boon completed his switch from Stellenbosch FC to Orlando Pirates on 13 August 2026.
