Oreoluwa Agbenla: Nigerian midfielder, 18, joins AIK U19 from Remo Stars Res.
Nigerian midfielder Oreoluwa Agbenla has joined Swedish side AIK U19 from Remo Stars Res. The 18-year-old has signed a contract with the Stockholm club running until 31 December 2030.
Agbenla moves into AIK’s youth set-up as a midfield option, operating primarily in central areas and favouring his right foot. Standing at 1.71m, he links up with the club’s under-19 squad as they continue to develop their next generation of first-team players.
The switch to AIK marks Agbenla’s first move away from Nigeria, where he had been part of the Remo Stars Reserves structure. His progress there has earned him a long-term deal in Sweden, giving him a stable platform at one of the country’s most recognised clubs.
By committing Agbenla until the end of 2030, AIK have secured the services of a young midfielder for the long term as he begins his career in European football.
