Onyebuchi Solomon Ihejirika: Nigerian striker joins STK Samorin in Slovak II. Liga move

Nigerian forward Onyebuchi Solomon Ihejirika has joined Slovak side STK Samorin, strengthening the II. Liga club’s attacking options ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

The 22-year-old striker has signed for Samorin after most recently being unattached, giving the club added depth in the final third as preparations step up for the new season. The move was completed on 25 July 2026, with Ihejirika officially registered as a player for the club known in full as STK 1914 Samorin.

Primarily deployed as a central striker, Ihejirika arrives to operate through the middle of the attack, though he is listed more broadly as an attacking player. His addition signals Samorin’s intention to refresh their forward line going into the new league campaign.

Born in 2004 and representing Nigeria at club level, Ihejirika will now look to establish himself in Slovak football. His age profile offers Samorin a player who already has senior experience while still having room to develop within the club’s system in the II. Liga.

The move sees the Nigerian attacker commit his immediate future to STK Samorin, with the club confirming his arrival for the 2026-27 season.
