Omar Sadik: AD Ceuta sign Espanyol striker on season-long loan

AD Ceuta have signed Morocco centre-forward Omar Sadik from Espanyol on a loan transfer. The 22-year-old moves from the LaLiga club to the Segunda Division side for the 2026-27 campaign, strengthening Ceutas attacking options through the middle.

Sadik, a left-footed striker born in Beni Mellal, joins after a spell on Espanyols books that included time with their B team and a loan stint in France with Pau FC. He is under contract at AD Ceuta until 30 June 2027, giving the Spanish club security over his immediate future.

Last season Sadik featured across LaLiga and LaLiga2 for Espanyol and in the Copa del Rey, while also gaining experience in Ligue 2 and the Coupe de France during his earlier loan spell at Pau. Across his senior career to date he has played in both Spain and France, accumulating appearances in domestic leagues and cups as well as promotion play-offs.

Sadik previously came through Espanyols youth set-up, spending time with their U19 side before a move to AM Football and a subsequent return to Barcelona, where he joined Espanyol B in 2023 for a reported 250,000 fee. His market value has since risen to 800,000.

The 1.85m forward enjoyed his most productive campaign in Spains fourth tier, scoring 13 goals and providing one assist in 39 appearances in the Segunda Federacion Group III, averaging a goal every 183 minutes. Omar Sadik now begins a new chapter at AD Ceuta as part of their LaLiga2 squad for the 2026-27 season.
