Omar Marmoush named Eintracht Frankfurt’s best player of January

Omar Marmoush has been awarded the Best Player of the Month trophy for January 2025 by Eintracht Frankfurt, despite no longer being part of the German club.

The 25-year-old Egyptian international received the honour following a stellar month of performances before his departure to join Premier League side Manchester City.

Although Marmoush has since moved on to England, his impact at Eintracht Frankfurt remains significant.

The former Wolfsburg forward impressed during January with two standout performances, scoring twice and providing two assists.

Marmoush’s influence on the field was evident in his impressive stats. Across just two appearances, he registered 13 shots on target and achieved an 84% pass accuracy.

His all-around contribution to Frankfurt’s attacking play was key in securing his individual recognition.

Before leaving the Bundesliga club, Marmoush had accumulated an impressive tally of 20 goals and 13 assists in just 26 appearances across all competitions for the season.

While his focus is now on his new chapter with Manchester City, where he has already played two matches, Marmoush is still searching for his first goal in English football.
