André Ayew Misses Marseille Training Due to Slight Injury Ahead of World Cup
André Ayew was absent from Marseille’s regular training session on Wednesday due to a slight injury. The Ghanaian midfielder, who has been selected to represent the Black Stars at the upcoming World Cup in Brazil, underwent a separate session at the club’s Louis-Dreyfus center.
Ayew spent the day running under the supervision of Dr. Christophe Baudot before returning to the gym for the remainder of his recovery workout. Despite the setback, Ayew is expected to resume full team training on Thursday morning and is not expected to miss any significant time ahead of the World Cup.
Marseille and Ghana will be hoping for a swift recovery, as Ayew plays a crucial role in both the club and national team’s midfield.
