Olympique de Marseille full-back Rod Fanni, who scored the winning goal against Valenciennes (1-0) in the 25th day of Ligue 1, shared his thoughts on his goal at a press conference. He said, “I think I’ve had good matches before, but I’ve never had that cherry on the cake (laughs). My goal? I started from quite a distance, felt that the ball was going within six meters, gave everything, and it smiled on me. I think we deserve the victory; we created more chances than them and held the ball,” declared the Frenchman of Beninese origin. Rod Fanni, aged 31, has been with OM since 2010.
