Saber Khalifa is set to make his debut in the colors of Olympique de Marseille (OM) this Saturday as part of the third day of Ligue 1. The Tunisian international is included in the Marseille coach’s group for the away match against Valenciennes.
Nabil Maâloul, the national coach of the Tunisia team, provided insights into Khalifa’s playing style in an interview with Le Parisien. Maâloul described Khalifa as an executive who is well-integrated into the group, highlighting his selfless approach to the game. He praised Khalifa’s defensive contributions, tactical intelligence, and goal-scoring ability, noting that he doesn’t need many chances to find the back of the net.
According to Maâloul, Khalifa prefers playing on the left but is equally effective on the right or in support of the center forward. The national coach expressed the belief that Khalifa will have to work hard to secure his place at OM, but the mere opportunity to play for the club is already a dream for them.
