Juventus Eye Giannelli Imbula as Potential Pogba Replacement
After a solid season under Marcelo Bielsa, Giannelli Imbula could be on his way out of Olympique de Marseille this summer. The French club, currently undergoing a squad reshuffle, may decide to cash in on the Congolese-born midfielder.
According to Italian journalist Cristian Amadei, Juventus have identified Imbula as a potential replacement should Paul Pogba leave the club during the transfer window. The Serie A champions are reportedly considering an offer in the region of €9 million to secure the services of the 22-year-old.
Imbula, known for his power, ball-carrying ability, and tactical intelligence, has been one of OM’s standout performers this season, attracting attention across Europe.
Should the move go through, Imbula would be following in the footsteps of Pogba, another French talent who made the leap to prominence in Turin.
