Foued Kadir Opens Up on Difficult Exit from Olympique de Marseille
Foued Kadir, who was on the verge of staying at Olympique de Marseille, ultimately found himself loaned out to Real Betis Sevilla. The Algerian midfielder has spoken candidly about the frustration he experienced upon returning to Marseille and learning he was effectively sidelined.
In an interview with RMC, Kadir described the confusion surrounding his situation. “We received an email informing us that training would resume on July 15th with the CFA [the reserve team]. What was quite unfortunate was that everyone was passing the buck, saying ‘it wasn’t me, it was the other guy’. In the end, we didn’t even know what to think,” he revealed.
The player added, “I don’t know the manager. If someone had told me ‘the coach isn’t counting on you,’ it would have been much easier to swallow.”
Kadir’s comments highlight the challenges faced by players caught in uncertain club situations, as he now looks to restart his career in Spain with Betis.
