Steve Mandanda Linked to Valencia, But Move Seems Unlikely Now
Steve Mandanda, who has been strongly linked with a departure from Olympique de Marseille, was recently rumored to be a target for Spanish club Valencia FC. The Franco-Congolese goalkeeper was reportedly eyed as a potential replacement for Valencia’s injured first-choice keeper, Diego Alves.
However, new reports from Spain this Saturday suggest that Valencia has shifted its focus. The club now prefers to sign Kiko Casilla, the goalkeeper from Espanyol Barcelona, effectively putting the move for Mandanda on hold or possibly off the table altogether.
As things stand, Mandanda’s potential transfer to Valencia seems less likely, leaving his future still open.
