French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Marseille will consider signing free agent Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window.
The France midfielder of Guinea descent is officially free to return to football after his recent ban due to doping.
Initially facing a four-year suspension, Pogba successfully appealed to have it cut to 18 months before Christmas in 2024.
Juventus parted ways with the 31-year-old earlier this season after he tested positive for testosterone in August 2023. The Serie A giants terminated the contract of Paul Pogba amid financial concerns and the uncertainty surrounding the midfielder’s return.
With his ban officially lifted today, Tuesday, March 11, Pogba’s future has become a hot topic.
Olympique Marseille remains a club of interest after sporting director Mehdi Benatia revealed in January the possibility of securing the services of the Frenchman.
“If something can be done, we will be delighted to welcome a player like Paul Pogba,” Benatia said at the time.
Checks have revealed the Olympique Marseille are still interested in the former Manchester United man but will only consider his signing at the end of the ongoing season.
