Olympique Khouribga appoint Hicham Louissi as new head coach ahead of 2026/27 season
Olympique Khouribga have appointed Moroccan coach Hicham Louissi as the new head coach of the first team ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
Louissi signed a one-year contract, with the possibility of an extension depending on the achievement of agreed objectives and conditions set by both parties.
The appointment forms part of Olympique Khouribga’s efforts to strengthen their technical direction and build a stable foundation ahead of the new campaign.
After assessing the club’s needs and future ambitions, the management identified Louissi as the right figure to lead the team, with expectations that his experience and knowledge of Moroccan football will help the club achieve its targets.
In a move aimed at ensuring continuity and maintaining stability within the technical department, Olympique Khouribga have also decided to retain members of the previous coaching structure.
The club renewed its confidence in Redouane Beklal and Sadek Mrabet, keeping both figures in their respective roles within the technical staff. Their continued involvement was agreed upon in consultation with the newly appointed head coach, highlighting the club’s desire to combine fresh ideas with existing experience.
To further strengthen the backroom team, Olympique Khouribga have added Aziz Ait Abbi as assistant coach, while Mehdi Lachhab has been appointed as the club’s physical conditioning coach.
The new technical structure is expected to begin preparations immediately as the club looks ahead to the 2026/27 season and aims to build a competitive squad capable of meeting its objectives.
Olympique Khouribga confirmed that the official preparation programme for the first team will be announced in the coming days as the club begins its pre-season planning.
