Olympique Béja clinched the Tunisian Super Cup for the 2022-2023 football season, triumphing over Étoile du Sahel with a resounding 2-0 victory on Sunday.
The match witnessed a masterclass performance by Malian forward Lamine Ba, who netted the opening goal in the 44th minute, setting the tone for Olympique Béja’s dominance.
The team’s triumph was sealed in the dying moments of the game when Bashir Al-Muqaddam found the back of the net in the 90th minute, securing an additional eight minutes of injury time.
This victory marks Olympique Béja’s second Tunisian Super Cup title, with their previous triumph dating back to the 1995 season.
