Djamel Abdoun, who was voted the best player in the Superleague Greece last season while playing for Olympiakos, is reportedly in advanced talks with teams from the English Championship. The Algerian midfielder, a former player of Manchester City, is said to be negotiating with Premier League club Southampton and Nottingham Forest, which competes in the Championship. Additionally, Abdoun is rumored to be attracting interest from Fulham and the German club Wolfsburg.
Abdoun, known for being the best passer in the Greek championship for the last three years, is currently under contract with Olympiakos until 2015.
