The Cameroonian international, shed light on his decision to join Samsunspor last summer. Departing Swansea City at the end of his contract, Ntcham made a significant move to the Turkish club, which had been newly promoted to the Süper Lig.

Reflecting on his choice, Ntcham revealed, “There were two clubs who wanted me. I chose Samsunspor because I thought it was the best option for me.

I wanted to try something new, I played a lot in Europe, I wanted to experience something else in Turkey.”

Since his arrival at Samsunspor on August 7, 2023, Ntcham’s adaptation to his new surroundings has been seamless.

The 28-year-old midfielder expressed his admiration for Samsun, describing it as “a very good city” with its unique blend of seaside and mountainous landscapes.

He also praised the unwavering support of the fans, highlighting their resilience during challenging times.

“Ntcham’s debut season in Türkiye has been notable, with six goals scored in 24 league appearances,” reported.

With just a few matches remaining in the Süper Lig season, Samsunspor currently holds the 13th position in the standings, having successfully distanced themselves from relegation concerns.

Looking ahead, Ntcham outlined the team’s ambition, stating, “The team’s goal is to finish in the top 10.

I think we are in a good position to achieve that goal. We have 5 games left to achieve this. It may be difficult, but we are determined.”

Ntcham’s insights offer a glimpse into the mindset of a player who has embraced the challenges of a new league and country with optimism and determination.

As Samsunspor aims to secure a strong finish in the Süper Lig, Ntcham’s contributions on and off the field continue to be instrumental in the club’s pursuit of success.
