Ayoub Bouaddi earns praise from Olivier Giroud

Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi has received glowing praise from former France international Olivier Giroud, who believes the teenager possesses the qualities required to reach the highest level of world football.

Bouaddi’s growing reputation has continued to gather momentum following a series of impressive performances, with the young Atlas Lions midfielder now attracting attention from prominent figures within the game.

Speaking during a BBC programme in his role as a pundit, Giroud expressed admiration not only for Bouaddi’s footballing ability but also for the maturity he has displayed despite his young age.

“He will play for Real Madrid next season,” affirmed the former Arsenal, Chelsea, and French national team striker.

Giroud suggested that Bouaddi’s development has been shaped by both his talent and the environment around him. The former World Cup winner pointed to the player’s calm approach and ability to remain composed amid increasing attention.

“I was moved by his maturity. His entourage is very good. He is very calm, very detached from all the pressure surrounding him,” he explained.

The comments underline the growing excitement surrounding one of Morocco’s most highly regarded young players. Bouaddi has become an increasingly important figure for the national team and is widely viewed as one of the country’s brightest prospects.

Giroud went even further when discussing the midfielder’s significance to Moroccan football.

“He’s a gift for Morocco,” he declared.

To illustrate his assessment, the former striker compared Bouaddi’s qualities to several of the game’s most respected midfielders. According to Giroud, the Moroccan combines attributes associated with three iconic players.

“He is a mix of Patrick Vieira, Sergio Busquets and N’Golo Kanté.”

Giroud believes Bouaddi possesses Vieira’s physical presence, Busquets’ tactical understanding and Kanté’s relentless energy, qualities that could allow him to develop into one of the leading midfielders of his generation.

“He’s going to become very strong because he’s extremely well-rounded,” the Frenchman added.

Interest in the Moroccan youngster has continued to grow as his performances attract attention from across Europe. Giroud also suggested that Bouaddi’s market value has risen significantly, estimating that any future transfer could command a fee between 60 and 70 million euros.

For now, Bouaddi’s focus remains on continuing his development and helping Morocco achieve its objectives. As expectations around him increase, the midfielder appears determined to maintain the steady progress that has already earned admiration from one of France’s most celebrated former forwards.

With praise arriving from a player of Giroud’s stature, Bouaddi’s rise is becoming increasingly difficult for the football world to ignore.
