Michael Olise has been backed to reach the pinnacle of world football after another electrifying performance for Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

The French winger delivered a decisive display as Bayern secured a 2-1 first-leg victory away to Real Madrid in their quarter-final clash, underlining his growing influence on the European stage.

His creativity and composure in key moments proved vital as the German champions seized a narrow advantage ahead of the return leg.

The French international of Nigerian descent has recorded an impressive 41 non-penalty goal involvements for Bayern Munich across all competitions this season. This tally consists of 16 goals and 25 assists, making him the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to reach the 25-assist milestone this term.

He has 45 goal contributions overall.
