French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice have completed the signing of France-born goalkeeper of Senegalese descent Yehvann Diouf.
The club announced the signing of the shot-stopper in an official statement on Thursday, July 3.
“OGC Nice is pleased to announce the arrival of Yehvann Diouf (25 years old) from Stade de Reims.
“It is a Ligue 1 figure who will now wear the red and black jersey. A solid goalkeeper (1.88m), talented and recognised,” OGC Nice announced.
Speaking on the new signing, OGC Nice Sporting Director Florian Maurice said, “Yehvann embodies stability, consistency, and beyond his intrinsic qualities, he is a player in the prime of life who was used to wearing the captain’s armband at his former club.”
The club believes that the acquisition of Yehvann Diouf is an investment not just for the present, but also for the future.
The goalkeeper is excited by the move and is looking forward to excelling in the next chapter of his career.
