RC Strasbourg has secured a six-month loan deal for 19-year-old striker Alexandre Mendy from OGC Nice. The loan, without a purchase option, aims to provide Mendy with an opportunity to enhance his skills at a higher level, as he has been a regular starter and goal-scorer for the reserve team (CFA). Strasbourg, currently competing in the National league, sees Mendy as a valuable addition to their squad. This move marks the third winter transfer for Strasbourg, following the acquisitions of Ivorian left-back Ali Bamba on loan from Metz and Guinean midfielder Mamadou Bah, committed until 2015. Alexandre Mendy is expected to join the team for training on Monday after arriving in Alsace on Sunday. The club is determined to help him qualify for the upcoming match against Fréjus/Saint-Raphaël next Friday.
