In a press release issued this Thursday, Togo has announced a call for applications to fill the position of National Team Coach. Following the expiration of Didier Six’s contract in mid-January, the Togolese football authorities are seeking a new coach.
Among the conditions outlined for applicants are the willingness to accept a Togolese administrative contract, being of Togolese or foreign nationality, and possessing experience with a national team, among others.
The top five applications will be reviewed by a Technical Recruitment Committee established by order of the Minister of Sports and Leisure. Already, Frenchman Hubert Velud and Ivorian François Zahoui have submitted their application files even prior to the official opening of the call for applications.
