After much anticipation, Real Madrid players will finally be heading to Algiers in May 2014. The national mobile operator, Mobilis, signed an agreement with Mediapro, the agency holding the marketing rights of the Spanish club, during a ceremony at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid. The partnership is expected to go beyond organizing a gala match and is envisioned as a long-term collaboration between Mobilis and Mediapro. The friendly match in Algiers is set to feature all the Real Madrid stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, making it a historic event for the host country.
