AC Ajaccio’s coach, Fabrizio Ravanelli, has utilized his Italian connections to strengthen the team’s roster. The latest additions to the squad are Mbaye Diagne and Alessandro Crescenzi, both acquired through free loans.
Mbaye Diagne, a 22-year-old Senegalese striker, was recruited by Juventus Turin this summer. However, he has now joined AC Ajaccio on a season-long loan without a purchase option. Diagne had an impressive season at Bra in Serie D before joining Juventus, where he scored 23 goals in 29 matches.
Alessandro Crescenzi, an Italian defender from AS Roma, is another addition to AC Ajaccio through a free loan arrangement. Like Diagne, he has joined the team for the season.
These signings add to AC Ajaccio’s Italian contingent, with Diagne and Crescenzi joining Tonucci and Tallo as the club’s recruits from Italy. It seems that Ravanelli is leveraging his connections to bring in talent from the Italian football scene to enhance the team’s capabilities.
