Paul Pogba has signed a two-year contract with AS Monaco, officially marking his return to professional football after a lengthy absence.
The 32-year-old midfielder was a free agent following his departure from Juventus in November 2024 and has not played a senior match since September 2023.

Born in France to Guinean parents, Pogba has long been one of the most recognisable faces in global football.
He missed more than a year of action after failing an anti-doping test, which initially resulted in a four-year ban.
However, an appeal led to the suspension being reduced to 18 months, allowing him to resume training in January and become eligible for competitive fixtures by March.
Although Pogba began his youth development in France with Le Havre, he has never featured in Ligue 1 until now.
His senior career has been defined by spells with Manchester United and Juventus, and he has earned 91 caps for France, winning the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
Monaco’s acquisition of Pogba signals a significant reinforcement for the Principality club, which finished third in Ligue 1 last season behind Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille.
The club is also on the verge of finalising a loan deal for Barcelona winger Ansu Fati.
Pogba rejoined Juventus in 2022 but was limited to just 12 appearances in his second stint due to injury and suspension.
