**Friendly Match Between Egypt and Togo Canceled**
The much-anticipated friendly between Egypt and Togo scheduled for October 13 in Cairo has been officially canceled. According to a letter from the Togolese Football Federation (FTF), the Egyptian Football Association decided at the last minute to postpone the match to 2016 for reasons beyond their control. Meanwhile, Egypt plans to face Zambia on October 11 in Dubai.
Togo’s coach Tom Saintfiet had already named an 18-player squad for the game, but with this cancellation, the Hawks lose their only scheduled warm-up before the critical 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Uganda in November.
