Esperance de Tunis has successfully secured the services of Aminou Bouba, a 22-year-old Cameroonian defender who recently arrived from Coton Sport de Garoua. The transfer was officially confirmed, and Bouba signed a four-year contract with Esperance.
The move reunites Bouba with his former coach at Garoua, Sebastien Desabre, who is now the manager of Esperance. Despite initial allegations suggesting restrictions on Cameroonian players moving to the Tunisian championship, the transfer certificate for Aminou Bouba was received by the club, confirming his arrival.
Additionally, Emmanuel Mbongo, another Cameroonian player who had been in Tunisia with Bouba, is set to undergo a trial in Saudi Arabia in the coming days. However, Esperance and Coton Sport were unable to reach an agreement on the transfer fee for Mbongo. The acquisition of Bouba demonstrates Esperance’s commitment to strengthening their squad with talented players from different regions.
