Since his arrival at Stoke City from Cardiff City in January, Odemwingie initially had a slow start but has since found his rhythm, scoring consistently. He netted three goals in three consecutive games for Stoke City, with his latest goal securing a crucial victory against Hull City on Saturday. In the match, Odemwingie capitalized on a defensive error to find the back of the net.
However, despite his resurgence, there are doubts about whether Keshi will include Odemwingie in the World Cup squad. Keshi has previously indicated that Odemwingie is not in his plans for the tournament. It remains to be seen whether the coach will put aside any differences with the player and give him a fair chance of selection.
