Chido Obi-Martin marked a week of personal milestones with a standout performance in Manchester United’s Under-18s 3-0 win over Stoke City. The Danish youth international, who recently turned 17 and officially signed his first professional contract, opened the scoring with a 71st-minute penalty.
The striker earned the spot-kick himself, skillfully outmaneuvering defender Pijus Otegbayo before calmly sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
Though substituted shortly after, Obi-Martin’s impact set the tone for a dominant United display.
James Scanlon added a spectacular long-range strike for his 10th league goal, and Dante Plunkett completed the scoring with a late close-range finish.
