Ntchinda Cahill: Cameroon defender joins CS Beius on free transfer from Santandrei
Cameroon centre-back Ntchinda Cahill has joined Romanian side CS Beius on a free transfer from Santandrei. The 25-year-old defender has moved ahead of the 2026-27 campaign after his deal with Santandrei came to an end.
Cahill, who plays primarily as a central defender, strengthens a CS Beius back line looking to add experience and depth. His switch is a permanent move, completed without a transfer fee, following three seasons in Romanian football.
The defender arrives from Santandrei, where he had been since August 2023. He had previously spent time with Crisul Chisineu, joining them in the summer of 2023 after a spell at ACB Ineu, continuing a career that has been built within the Romanian system.
Cahill has also featured in the Romanian Cup, making three appearances in the competition and providing one assist, underlining his ability to contribute in both penalty areas. Across those matches he accumulated over 200 minutes of playing time.
Born on 5 April 2001, the Cameroon defender now enters what should be a key period of his career as he links up with his new club. CS Beius have confirmed his arrival, with Cahill already listed as part of their squad following the completion of the free transfer from Santandrei.
