Nsingizini Hotspurs sign former AmaZulu striker Senzo Ndlovu permanently

Nsingizini Hotspurs have completed the permanent signing of former AmaZulu striker Senzo Ndlovu after a loan spell at the Eswatini club last season.

The 30-year-old forward’s move has been confirmed by the club to Soccer Laduma, although the length of his new contract has not been disclosed.

Nsingizini Hotspurs public relations officer Mnotfo Dlamini said the agreement was now permanent, but added that the contractual details remained an internal matter.

“I can confirm he’s now on a permanent deal with us,” said Nsingizini Hotspurs PRO Mnotfo Dlamini.

“I don’t have details regarding the number of years he’s signed for, as that’s an office matter. But I can confirm it’s a permanent deal now,” he added.

Ndlovu joined Nsingizini Hotspurs on loan from AmaZulu last season. His stay in Eswatini has now been extended on a permanent basis, following the collapse of a proposed move to Kruger United.

Ndlovu was expected to join Kruger United, as previously reported by the publication, but that transfer did not go through. Nsingizini Hotspurs subsequently made contact with the striker and secured his services on a permanent deal.

The move brings an end to Ndlovu’s time with AmaZulu, where he had struggled to establish himself after arriving in July 2024.

There had been considerable expectation surrounding the striker when he moved to the Durban-based club. Before joining AmaZulu, Ndlovu had attracted attention with Sinenkani, scoring 23 goals in one season for the Eastern Cape club.

His performances for the third-tier side earned him the opportunity to move to Usuthu, but regular first-team football proved difficult to secure in Durban. That lack of playing time led to a couple of loan spells before he eventually left AmaZulu permanently.

Nsingizini Hotspurs’ decision to retain Ndlovu means the striker will continue his career in Eswatini after his temporary spell with the club. The club has confirmed the permanent nature of the agreement, but has not announced how many years the player has signed for.

His transfer follows a period in which his career had been shaped by moves between clubs and loan arrangements. After making his name at Sinenkani through his goalscoring record, Ndlovu joined AmaZulu in July 2024, only to find opportunities limited.

He then spent last season on loan at Nsingizini Hotspurs, where he did enough to earn a permanent contract. A possible switch to Kruger United appeared to be the next step, but when that deal fell through, Nsingizini Hotspurs moved to secure his future instead.

The Eswatini club has now confirmed that Ndlovu is no longer registered with them on a temporary basis and has become a permanent member of their squad.
