Noureddine Saadi is set to make a return to the Algerian championship, joining JSM Béjaïa. After a previous stint in the Tunisian Ligue 1 with CA Bizertin from October 2013 to March 2013, the experienced coach and the former coach of USM Alger signed with JSM Béjaïa on Tuesday, as reported by the APS (Algerian Press Service).
At 63 years old, Noureddine Saadi is considered the dean of Algerian football coaches actively working in the championship. He takes over from Italian Gianni Solinas, who was relieved of his duties at the end of the season due to insufficient results.
Saadi’s mission at JSM Béjaïa will be to restore the club’s image, especially after being eliminated in the 8th final of the Caf Cup and finishing 11th in the previous season’s championship. His experience and leadership will be crucial in shaping the team’s performance and aiming for improved results in the upcoming competitions.
