English Premier League club Nottingham Forest have joined the race to sign American forward of Ghanaian descent, Yunus Musah.
The club is preparing for the 2025/26 football season and has decided to strengthen its midfield.
The target, Yunus Musah, currently plays for AC Milan in the Italian Serie A.
The 22-year-old signed for the Serie club from Valencia in August 2023 for a fee of €20 million.
The former Arsenal man had a good campaign last season, raising his stock and attracting interest from some of Europe’s top teams.
A few weeks ago, SSC Napoli emerged as the frontrunners to secure the signing of Yunus Musah.
Although the Serie A champions reportedly agreed on personal terms with the midfielder, negotiations with AC Milan over a fee stalled last week.
Nottingham Forest have now joined the race for the youngster and are hoping to beat Napoli to his signing.
Besides Napoli and Nottingham Forest, West Ham United are also reportedly interested in signing Musah this summer.
Checks have revealed that AC Milan are demanding a transfer fee of 25 million euros for the midfielder.
