Nottingham Forest are pushing to secure the signature of Franco-Congolese attacker Dilane Bakwa before the closure of the summer transfer window.
With talks advancing between the Premier League club and Strasbourg, the 23-year-old winger is expected to seal deadline day switch to Nottingham Forest.
Bakwa has been a long-term target for the Tricky Trees, who are bent on adding the talented winger to their ranks for the season.
Strasbourg would command a £35m fixed transfer fee with further add-ons to part ways with Bakwa.
The winger is expected to leave Strasbourg as Rosenior seems to be already planning for a future without him. The France youth international winger is yet to start a competitive game for Strasbourg despite making substitute appearance for the club in the initial three matches.
Despite their BlueCo-powered financial might, with more than €100m spent in signings this summer, Strasbourg need to sell players to comply with Ligue 1 and UEFA’s financial fair-play.
Bakwa has been impressive since the commencement of the 2025/26 Ligue 1, scoring one goals and providing three assists in three appearances.
