Noel Aseko set for Bayern Munich exit as Eintracht Frankfurt move nears completion
Noel Aseko is set to leave Bayern Munich for Eintracht Frankfurt, with German reports saying the 20-year-old midfielder’s move is already essentially done.
The deal has not been confirmed publicly yet, but the strongest updates suggest the clubs have reached an agreement and only the final formalities remain.
Frankfurt are expected to hand Aseko a contract through 2030, with an option for one more year, while the fee is being reported in the 10 million to 12 million euro range. The move is understood to appeal to the Germany U21 international because he should have a better chance of regular first-team minutes in Frankfurt. His talks with the club’s coach also helped push the decision forward, according to the report.
Other clubs from England, Spain, and Italy had also shown interest, including Roma, but Frankfurt appear to have won the race. Some German outlets are still more cautious and say the transfer is close rather than final, so the announcement may still take a little time.
