Zamalek SC has reportedly confirmed that no official offers have been received for goalkeeper Mohamed Awad, despite recent speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
Sources say that Awad himself had requested to leave, promising to facilitate transfer offers, but no formal approaches have materialised.
The goalkeeper is set to remain at Zamalek, particularly as he faces disciplinary action for refusing to join the team’s training camp in protest of the technical staff’s policies.
A club insider emphasized that all players are required to adhere to Zamalek’s regulations, and any breaches are met with appropriate sanctions, citing Awad’s case as an example, as confirmed by technical director Moataz Gamal.
